The Most Reliable Person You can Count On!

How disappointed do you get when someone lets you down? How hurt do you feel when a loved one or a friend betrays you? Very disappointed and very hurt I guess.

Because we live in a fallen world, things and people are bound to fall apart some times.

I have met someone who is the most reliable person you can ever count on for anything and everything. He is absolutely dependable.

You know, you might call a friend but not get through, you could send a mail and it bounces back.

But this person am talking about is reachable 24/7. His line is never switched off or busy. You don't need to book an appointment to meet with Him. You don't even have to pay a dime to have a session with Him.

Yes that's right; you don't need all of that. All you need do is call out to Him and He will answer, any day, any time.

I have more good news for you, He has never lost a battle or a case, He has never failed. And you can be rest assured that He will never let you down or disappoint you.

"He can do exceeding abundantly far above all you can ever think or ask according to His power that is at work in you." Nothing is impossible for Him to do.

What your friends and family have found impossible to do, He is more than able to do. Because, "What is impossible with man, is possible with Him." There is absolutely no one, not a single person that can do what He does. No one can love you the way He does. No one can heal you the way He can, No one can help you like He can. He can do it all! And most importantly, He can save you!

I have relied and depended on Him and He blew my mind. He did far beyond my expectation. He can do the same for you, only if you let Him.

In case you don't know, He is a perfect gentleman. He will never force His will on you. He respects your decision but He always wants you to make the right decision.

The only way you can make the right decision is by giving Him full control of your life. He knows the beginning from the end because He is the first and last. He is the only one who can make a way even when there seems to be no way. You can trust Him 100% and He will never let you down. Never!

Oh by the way, I have not told you His name. His name is JESUS!

Don’t let the devil make you a slave of your past!

Robert Heffler made an illustration: There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. And he was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods but he could never hit the target. And getting a little discouraged, he headed back for lunch. As he was walking back he saw Grandma’s pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved. In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister watching – Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch that day Grandma said, “Sally, let’s wash the dishes.” But Sally said, “Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen today, didn't you Johnny?” And then she whispered to him, “Remember the duck?”

So Johnny did the dishes.

Later Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing, and Grandma said, “I’m sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.” But Sally smiled and said, “Well, that’s all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help.” And she whispered again, “Remember the duck?” So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally’s, he finally couldn’t stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he killed the duck. She knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, “Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing. But because I love you, I forgave you. But I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.”

Exactly the same way, Jesus Christ was standing at the window. And saw the whole thing. He saw everything you did. But because He loves you, He is very willing to forgive you as you confess to Him. He doesn’t want you to be a slave to the devil. Stop allowing the devil torment you over your past sins. Once you confess your past sins to God, He no longer remembers any of them. (Heb. 10:17)

“Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do; forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 3:13-14)
